Iran has reviewed the US's proposal for a peace plan and finds it unreasonable. This was stated by an official on Wednesday to the Iranian state-owned Press TV, according to the news agency Reuters.
The official further said that Iran will not let US President Donald Trump dictate when the war should end.
Among other things, Iran is demanding guarantees that the war, which began with extensive US and Israeli air strikes on February 28, will not flare up again.
Iran is also demanding guarantees that war reparations will be paid.
It was on Tuesday that reports first emerged that the US had sent Iran a 15-point plan that was supposed to lead to an end to the war in the Middle East.
This was stated by two unnamed officials with knowledge of the diplomatic process to The New York Times.
According to the unnamed sources, the plan had been handed over to Iran via Pakistan.
