Media: Port Director and Deputy Operations Director at Frederikshavn Port have been fired

Trust in the port management is gone, the mayor writes to the city council of Frederikshavn Municipality, according to media reports.

Frederikshavn Port Director Mikkel Seedorf Sørensen and Deputy Operations Director Kim Nielsen have been fired. This is reported by TV2 Nord.

The media outlet also reports that Frederikshavn Municipality Mayor Birgit S. Hansen (S) informed the municipal council about the layoffs on Thursday afternoon, January 18.

Frederikshavn Port Chairman Karsten Dybvad confirmed to TV2 Nord that the two people involved were involved.

DOI.dk has tried in vain to get a comment from Port Director Mikkel Seedorf Sørensen. Deputy Operations Director Kim Nielsen does not wish to comment.
