The agreement on a heat check will not be reopened despite calls from opposition parties, a housing economist and two of the parties behind the agreement. Climate and Energy Minister Dan Jørgensen (S) rejects the call in a written response.

The agreement was concluded on February 11 due to rising energy prices. It gives 320,000 households a one-time check of 3,750 kroner.

- Now we are concentrating on implementing what we have decided. Since we concluded the agreement, war has broken out in Europe, writes Dan Jørgensen. He adds that it is no longer just energy prices that are rising.

- So it is no longer a pure heat discussion, he says.
