The vice chairman of the Frederikshavn Port Board has become the new interim director of the port, which is in financial crisis with a debt of no less than 1.5 billion. DKK. The solution is expected to be in place by the summer. This is what Nordjyske writes.
- It will be a limited period during which I will be the director - and it will also only be part-time. But it makes good sense, because I have already worked my way into the port's conditions since the end of November. So I will be up and running faster than if we were to bring in a completely new person, explains Poul Knudsgaard.
According to the media, Poul Knudsgaard has a long history as director of the large company, MAN Energy Solutions and business director in Aalborg.
While Knudsgaard will now become interim director and continue as an ordinary board member. Board member Pia Ankerstjerne will be promoted to vice chairman under chairman Karsten Dybvad. He will, however, continue as a board member during the period.
