Pump manufacturer Grundfoss can now look forward to new surroundings. A contract was signed with MT Højgaard on Tuesday for the construction of a new 13,100 square meter headquarters in Bjerringbro. The company announced this in a press release.

The new headquarters, designed by AART, will serve as a hub for Grundfos' global activities. It will consist of five floors and will house 660 employees, and the building will be part of a comprehensive campus that Grundfos plans to build in the area. The ambition is that the new headquarters will have as low a climate footprint as possible, and the building is planned to be certified to DGNB Platinum and at the same time meet the requirements for LEED Platinum.

- Our headquarters will create the perfect setting for a modern workplace. We meet the highest sustainability standards, and the building will represent our continued pursuit of quality by integrating our own smart technologies that minimize environmental impact and optimize performance, says Mikael Geday, CFO of Grundfos, and continues:

- Together with the existing Grundfos buildings, we create a campus where colleagues can work, learn and develop.

The Poul Due Jensen Foundation has chosen to finance the construction and will therefore own the building, which will be leased to Grundfos. Construction will begin in Q1 2025 and is expected to be delivered in Q2 2027.
