Nordex Group has received a new order from Spanish energy group Grupo Enhol for the supply and installation of six N163/5.X wind turbines in Navarra in northern Spain. The project, called Caparroso, will have a total capacity of 34.2 MW. Nordex will also be responsible for a 20-year service agreement to ensure stable operation and maximum energy production. Nordex announced in a press release.
The wind farm is located near the village of Caparroso and is the latest project in the collaboration between Nordex Group and Grupo Enhol, which previously included the wind farms Abilitas (41.6 MW), Cabanillas (56.5 MW) and Pestriz (52.8 MW) in the same region. Installation will begin in July 2026, and commissioning is expected in February 2027. The components for the project will be produced in Europe: towers, blades and nacelles in Spain, while hubs and drivelines will be manufactured in Germany. The project is funded through the EU's Recovery and Resilience Facility under the NextGenerationEU programme.
