In January 2026, Nordex Group signed several contracts for the supply of wind turbines in Europe with a total capacity of 220 MW. The orders are distributed across projects in the UK, Turkey and Lithuania.
This was announced by Nordex Group in a press release.
In the UK, the company has received an order for the supply and installation of 14 N163/6.X turbines with a total capacity of more than 90 MW. The project is expected to be completed in 2028.
In Turkey, Nordex has received orders for various turbine types for both new wind farms and expansions of existing plants. The total capacity is 78 MW, and one of the projects includes N175/6.X turbines for the first time.
In Lithuania, a new wind turbine project will be equipped with seven N175/6.X turbines in a cold climate version with an anti-icing system during 2027. The project has a total capacity of 47.6 MW and is expected to be completed in 2028.
All contracts include multi-year service and maintenance agreements. The names of the customers and the specific wind farms have not been published.
