He started at Polytech as R&D Manager in 2007, and was promoted to the company's CEO in 2012. Under Mads Kirkegaard's leadership, Polytech has expanded its business areas, established new production facilities in China and Mexico, while the company has achieved significant market share and increased its global customer base. This is what Polytech writes in a press release.
- I am proud of what we have achieved at Polytech during my time as CEO says Mads Kirkegaard and adds:
- We have attracted so much talent and built solid expertise over the years, which has brought us to the position of the undisputed market leader in our fields. It has been a fantastic journey with ups and downs, which we have successfully navigated through. It would not have been possible without the fantastic people we have at Polytech and the excellent collaboration across the entire organization, our customers and partners. It has been an honor to lead Polytech, and I am excited to follow Polytech's future journey as a member of the board.
The outgoing CEO is also confident that he can lead the company well.
- I am convinced that Allan JF Kristensen will lead the company to even greater success.
Mads Kirkegaard moves to the board
Despite his resignation as CEO, Mads Kirkegaard is not a thing of the past at Polytech as he joins the board. The chairman of the board is certainly also satisfied with the efforts made over 12 years.
- We are grateful for Mads Kirkegaard's leadership and contribution to Polytech over the past twelve years, and we welcome him as a member of the board of directors of Polytech. Mads hands over the company in a strong state, ready for further growth. We are therefore pleased that he continues to play a crucial role in Polytech as a board member. At the same time, we welcome Allan JF Kristensen as Polytech's new CEO, who will build on this strong foundation and continue to drive the company forward. We are confident that Allan JF Kristensen will lead Polytech with the same passion, integrity and ambitions that have defined Polytech under Mads Kirkegaard's leadership, says Polytech's chairman Søren F. Knudsen.
Allan JF Kristensen has over twenty years of management experience from global, high-tech manufacturing companies. He was most recently CEO of Frontmatec Group, where he led the profitable transformation of the company. Before Frontmatec Group, he held various management roles at Howden Group.
And there are words of praise for the incoming CEO in the press release.
Allan has extensive experience with international work. He has, among other things, has shown great results in complex project sales, execution of large specialized and technical engineering projects and building customer-focused organizations in many different industrial segments. His primary focus has been to deliver high customer satisfaction, always supported by skilled and motivated employees. Building on his previous work and significant results, Allan will contribute to Polytech continuing to deliver solutions that benefit customers and the entire industry, says Polytech.
New CEO: Polytech unique
Allan JF Kristensen himself is looking forward to getting started at Polytech.
- Polytech is a truly unique partner for the wind industry. As a supplier dedicated exclusively to wind, Polytech has a comprehensive toolbox and expertise that solves the most pressing challenges in the industry. It is imperative that we continue to advance this expertise, expand our solutions and expand our knowledge. I am excited and proud to take over the role of CEO and work together with Polytech's talented employees to achieve further success, says Allan JF Kristensen, who is looking forward to starting on June 1.
In the coming period, Mads Kirkegaard will work closely with Allan JF Kristensen to create a smooth transition and transfer of responsibility. Kirkegaard will become part of the board of directors on July 1 this year.
