There is a need for qualified labor to lift the green transition. This will be achieved by a new collaboration between Tekniq, the Danish Electrical Association, the Danish Plumbers' and Plumbers' Association and EuroSkills 2025. The collaboration will highlight the need for skilled skills and technical vocational training. The goal is to emphasize the crucial role of the electrical and plumbing industry in the green transition and to raise awareness of the technical solutions that can contribute to Denmark's climate goals. This is stated by the parties in a press release.

EuroSkills 2025, which is the European championship for vocational training and brings together 600 young professional athletes from all over Europe, will be held in Herning in September. It is expected to attract up to 100,000 visitors and will be Denmark's largest education event in 2025. As part of the collaboration, the Education Secretariat of the Electrical and Plumbing Industry (EVU) will establish areas where visitors can try their hand at the electrician and plumbing energy education.

- The technical business community is crucial to the green transition, and EuroSkills Herning 2025 can help focus on the key role of skilled workers. We hope that the event can be a step towards more people opening their eyes to green technical vocational education. If we are to be at the forefront of the green transition, we cannot do without more skilled labor for the technical business community, says Troels Blicher Danielsen, CEO of Tekniq.

The Danish Electrical Association and the Danish Plumbers' Association also see EuroSkills 2025 as an opportunity to attract more people to the industries. They point out that there is a high demand for both electricians and HVAC energy specialists to realize Denmark's climate goals and ensure sustainable installations in the future.
