Things are going well at cable manufacturer NKT, which announced as recently as Monday that it had finally closed an agreement to supply cables to Poland's first offshore wind farm, Baltic Power.
Several other agreements during the year have now led the cable manufacturer to adjust its earnings expectations for the full year upwards. Revenue (standard metal prices) is still expected to be approximately EUR 1.8-1.9 billion, but the expectations for operational EBITDA are now expected to be approximately EUR 215-245 million (previously approximately EUR 200-230 million), the company said in a company announcement.
NKT will publish its quarterly financial statements for the second quarter of 2023 tomorrow, Wednesday.
