Denmark's best-selling electric car is the Tesla Model Y, which reached sales of 10,471 units in 2024. Tesla is also represented with the Model 3, which with 5,527 units sold takes fourth place among the most popular electric cars.
The Skoda Enyaq iV and Volkswagen ID.4 are close behind the Model Y with 5,654 and 5,652 cars sold, respectively. These models show a clear trend that Danish car buyers prefer larger SUVs and crossover models.
Volkswagen has three models among the ten best-selling electric cars in Denmark. In addition to the ID.4 in third place, you will find the T-Roc and ID.3, which with 2987 and 2930 units sold respectively show the brand's strong position in the electric car market.
