Since 2019, VS Automatic has participated in the NExTWORK initiative, which helps young people between the ages of 15 and 29 gain experience in the labor market. At a new match event in Horsens, the company was once again involved in offering internships to vulnerable young people. VS Automatic writes in a press release.
The East Jutland electrical installer has had a total of around 20 interns through NExTWORK, where the young people have tried their hand at everything from programming and graphic work to practical tasks with an electrician.
This time, VS Automatic was looking for an intern for the marketing department. The intern could work with social media posts, newsletters or graphic elements.
- It was incredibly rewarding to meet the young people. Talking to them and getting to know them was a pleasure, and it only reinforced the desire to help them well on their way into working life

- It's not about recruiting free labor. It's all about taking social responsibility and giving young people some good experiences that they can take with them on their way

NExTWORK was originally developed by the ROCKWOOL Foundation's Intervention Unit and came to Horsens Municipality in 2019. The initiative is to give young people on the edge of the labor market a taste of working life through short internships. The primary goal is not employment but to motivate young people to take the next step towards education or work.
