AABENRAA: A reception for 150 invited guests with a tapas buffet, coffee and cake, wine, beer and water, and a 30,000 kroner lecture by speaker and retired associate professor Nils Villemoes, for a total price of 130,000 kroner. This is the price and program for a celebration of the director of the Port of Aabenraa, who is celebrating his 10th anniversary. This is reported by TV Syd. According to Professor of Financial Management at Aalborg University, Per Nikolaj Bukh, it is bordering on inappropriate:
- When we come up with around 600 kroner for food and drinks at a reception on the occasion of a 10th anniversary for a director, then we are absolutely in the extreme zone of what can be said to be appropriate, he says, referring to the fact that the port must manage its money with a view to thrift, as it is municipally owned. The chairman of the port's board sees the matter differently:
- I cannot answer for other ports, what they prioritize and how they do it. We have chosen to do it this way because we want to give Henrik (Director of the Port of Aabenraa, ed.) a good day. We wanted a strong professional presentation, and we wanted to be updated on what had happened at Aabenraa Port in the past 10 years, and that is what we have assessed as necessary to make it a good day, says chairman of the board and city council member for the Schleswig Party Erwin Andresen.
