FREDERIKSHAVN: The four former board members who refused to participate in the legal investigation of Frederikshavn Port in the autumn are still contributing to the investigation, writes TV2 Nord. It is the city council of Frederikshavn Municipality that has decided that a legal investigation should be carried out to clarify what led to the financial chaos in Frederikshavn Port, which ended with the municipality having to take over the operation of the port last year with a debt of 1.7 billion kr.

But so far, the four former members of the board have refused to participate, as they could not access the board portal, which, among other things, board minutes and documents with communication between the port and the municipality.

However, a long-term dialogue between the law firm Bech Bruun and the former board members has now resulted in the former board members also submitting material to the investigation - including emails and parts of reports, former board member Leif Midtgaard Pedersen told the media.
