Sweco Denmark has had a good financial year. In 2025, the consulting company managed to increase earnings to the highest level in the company's history. EBITA increases to 327.1 million DKK from 297.3 million DKK in 2024, and the earnings margin improves to 14.5 percent against 13.2 percent. The result is a turnover of 2,256 billion DKK, which is on par with the 2,251 billion DKK the year before. This means that the growth in turnover has completely flattened out compared to last year, when growth of 22.9 percent was realized on that parameter, Sweco says in a press release.

According to the company, the progress is driven by demand within infrastructure, industry, water and the environment as well as increasing activity within security and defense. At the same time, a broad business model and interdisciplinary collaboration have contributed to the results in a market where parts of the pharma and energy segments have been under pressure, and where commercial and residential construction is subdued.

- I am very satisfied with the year's results. In a market where parts of the pharma and energy segments have been under pressure, and where commercial and residential construction remains subdued, we have maintained stable revenue by actively strengthening our position in other growth areas. At the same time, we are significantly increasing earnings through solid project execution across all business areas, an increasingly strong ability to orchestrate interdisciplinary projects and close collaboration with our customers, says Dariush Rezai, CEO of Sweco Denmark.

During the year, the company has worked on, among other things, the reconstruction and future-proofing of wastewater infrastructure in Ukraine, studies for the first stage of the Danish Hydrogen Backbone for Energinet, expansion and modernization of the electricity grid for Cerius-Radius and Nexel, and environmental consulting for Banedanmark in connection with upcoming construction and track projects.

At the end of 2025, Sweco Denmark had 1,993 employees compared to 2,012 the previous year and is represented in 17 offices in the country.
