ODSHERRED: Following the company's own bankruptcy petition on Tuesday, the bankruptcy court in Holbæk declared Odsherred Forsyning bankrupt on Wednesday, writes TV2 Øst.
As previously mentioned, Odsherred Forsyning failed to get its finances back on track before a deadline set by the bankruptcy court. In July, a reconstruction plan was approved, which means that the company's creditors have agreed to write off several hundred million kroner.
According to TV2 Øst, the creditors have specifically accepted a proposal that reduces the debt of 1.5 billion kroner to 750 million kroner, which the company must pay over the next 45 years. The subsidiary Odsherred Varme A/S can thus continue operations under tight financial conditions.
