For the third year in a row, OK has the country's most satisfied electricity customers, according to this year's customer survey from EPSI Rating Denmark, which has just been published. The survey shows that the company continues to be ahead of the industry as a whole, both in terms of satisfaction and perceived trust. The energy company states this in a statement.
- The strongest electricity companies succeed not only with satisfaction, but also with trust. They show that transparent and simple communication creates a stronger customer relationship than price alone. OK maintains its first place, customers experience that their electricity agreement fits their needs, says Sofie Breum, country manager at EPSI Rating Denmark.
The results show that OK achieves almost 74 points out of 100, while the average in the electricity industry is 65. According to the survey, customers experience that OK's solutions match their needs and that the communication is clear. The company currently has over a quarter of a million electricity customers, and the number of customers is continuing to increase. Despite the growth, OK maintains a high level of satisfaction, which, according to the analysis, is unusual in an industry characterized by high competition and changing prices.
EPSI's data also shows that customers increasingly expect proactive contact from their electricity company, especially when it comes to help with product selection, consumption overview and finances. OK is assessed in the survey as a leader in reaching out to customers when relevant, and this is highlighted as one of the reasons for the company's position at the top of the year's results.
Progress in the industry
The survey also indicates that trust in the electricity industry is generally increasing after several years characterized by energy crisis and uncertainty. EPSI assesses that several companies have strengthened their relationship with customers, and that customers' expectations are being met to a greater extent than before.
Overall, the industry is at a stable level of customer satisfaction, but the development varies between companies, and individual players have made significant progress. At OK, we are pleased that trust in the industry is improving.
- The entire electricity industry has a shared responsibility to ensure that Danes have trust in their electricity company – and we must earn that trust every day. That is why I am pleased that things are moving forward across the industry, and that several companies are doing really well. I think there is reason to praise SEF Energi and go’ energi in particular for their excellent results in this year’s survey, says Michael Lamberth, commercial director at OK.
