It is now possible for the public, including authorities and organizations, to submit comments or ask questions about the environmental impact report for the development, operation and decommissioning of the Hejre field in the North Sea to the Danish Energy Agency. The agency states this in a statement.
Ineos has submitted an application to the Danish Energy Agency for the development and operation of the Hejre field, which is located 300 km west of the Danish west coast. The new project includes, among other things, construction and installation of an unmanned topside on the existing Hejre foundation, establishment of an approx. 30 km long pipeline to the Syd Arne field, and establishment of an approx. 30 km power cable from Syd Arne to Hejre and the possibility of drilling an additional well from the Hejre platform.
But before the project can get underway, stakeholders have the opportunity to comment on the environmental impact report that highlights the environmental impacts in Denmark from the development, operation and decommissioning of the Hejre field, which Ineos has prepared. The consultation runs until September 1.
