Siemens Gamesa is following in Vestas' footsteps and is also suspending its expectations for the 2020 financial statements due to corona, Siemens Gamesa said in a press release.
Siemens Gamesa had previously expected revenue of around 75-80 billion DKK in 2020 with a profit of 4.5-6 percent, but those expectations have now been dropped.
In its message, Siemens Gamesa makes it clear that it is due to the corona virus that it has now been forced to abandon its original expectations for the raw material.
The corona crisis has had an impact on Siemens Gamesa's activities, particularly in India and northern Europe, and it is primarily onshore projects that have been affected.
It is also noted that it is facing the crisis with a healthy economic background with a 'strong balance sheet' and a 'strong liquidity position'.
Earlier in April, Vestas announced that they dropped their expectations for its 2020 financial statements.
