With the installation of an N163/5.X turbine at the Kalistanneva wind farm in Finland, Nordex Group has achieved a milestone, and with the turbine, it now has over five GW of installed capacity in the Nordic region. The German wind turbine manufacturer states this in a statement.
A total of 1,234 turbines "Made by Nordex" are in operation in Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway. Together, they produce electricity for two million households. Broken down by country, wind farms in Finland account for 2.6 GW, farms in Sweden for 1.6 GW, farms in Norway for 641 MW and wind farms in Denmark for 152 MW.

The Nordex Group has installed a total of around 51 GW of wind power capacity in more than 40 countries.
