With the installation of an N163/5.X turbine at the Kalistanneva wind farm in Finland, the Nordex Group has achieved a milestone, and with the turbine it now has over five GW of installed capacity in the Nordic region. This is stated by the German wind turbine manufacturer in an announcement.
A total of 1,234 turbines "Made by Nordex" are in operation in Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway. Together they produce electricity for two million households. Broken down by country, wind farms in Finland account for 2.6 GW, parks in Sweden for 1.6 GW, parks in Norway for 641 MW and wind farms in Denmark for 152 MW.
