The German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex Group has received an order for the supply and installation of 12 N133/4.8 turbines for the Drumnahough Wind Farm in Donegal, Ireland. The project is owned by SSE and FuturEnergy Ireland and will have a total capacity of approximately 60 MW.

The agreement also includes a long-term Premium Service contract, which will ensure stable operation of the turbines. Delivery and installation are expected to begin in 2027. Killybegs Port in Donegal will act as the entry point for components.

- We are delighted to have been awarded the contract to manufacture and install the turbines for the Drumnahough Wind Farm – another important milestone in Ireland's journey towards more renewable energy, says Jason Welch, Managing Director UK & Ireland at Nordex Group.
