It was a dispute over his own bonus that was the main reason why Jørgen Holm Westergaard had to leave Energi Danmark back in February after 23 years in the chair, Finans writes.
In recent weeks, the management of Andel and Energi Danmark has distanced itself from the bonuses that the resigned director entered into an agreement with three energy traders. They were each offered a bonus of around a quarter of a billion kroner.
Finans has learned from sources that it was not the three agreements that led Energi Danmark to enter into a severance agreement with the director in February. It was primarily his own bonus, which was supposed to be in the three-digit million range.
