The Danish Energy Agency is seeing great interest in establishing new coastal offshore wind farms. The Danish Energy Agency has recently received 14 new applications for feasibility studies for new projects, the agency says in a press release.
However, there is currently no large wave of new projects on the way. The Danish Energy Agency has screened the new applications and the screening has shown that they are deficient.
"As a result, the Danish Energy Agency has requested additional information from the project applicants before case processing can begin. The applications will be processed in accordance with the rules at the time when the applications are complete," the Danish Energy Agency says.
