There is good wind in the sails of the wind shipping company Cadeler. The company announced on Friday that it has delivered its tenth installation vessel to the fleet, which is already the largest in the industry. But that is not the only milestone that Cadeler has reached. In November, the company surpassed 1,000 employees for the first time. Cadeler announced this on its LinkedIn profile.

- This is a moment and an opportunity to thank all employees for their hard work and dedication. Reaching employee number 1,000 would not have been possible without our skilled and committed employees – and also without the trust that our partners, customers, suppliers and the rest of the industry continue to show us, says Rikke Kruse Kolby, EVP and Chief People & Culture Officer at Cadeler.

Cadeler has experienced significant growth, especially since the stock exchange listing in Norway in 2020. The expansion of the workforce has also been supported by the acquisition and subsequent merger with Eneti in 2023.

According to Cadeler's CEO, Mikkel Gleerup, the growth in the number of employees has never been a goal in itself, but is a natural consequence of the company's work to continuously adapt to the industry and reality in which it operates.

"The fact that we now have 1,000 employees has never been a goal in itself. The goal has been to expand and strengthen the services we can offer our customers so that they can achieve their goals – and so that together we can change the world", he writes on his personal LinkedIn.

Cadeler's employee growth is likely to continue in the coming years. In any case, the shipping company has announced that two more vessels will join the fleet before mid-2027.
