48,000 electricity customers in the Aarhus area were affected by a power outage on Thursday. This was reported by the network supplier Dinel to TV 2 Østjylland and Ekstra Bladet.
Shortly before noon, all customers had their power restored. The outage lasted for almost an hour from 10:30, writes Ekstra Bladet.
The company's head of security and emergency response, Ove Juul Andersen, says that there is nothing to indicate sabotage or attack. According to him, it was a cable fault at Energinet.
P4 Trafik writes that there have been reports of black traffic lights in Aarhus, Tranbjerg, Hørning and Stilling. In addition, Odder Forsyningsselskab writes that the power outage has caused problems for Odder Varmeværk and Odder Vandværk. There are challenges with the supply of water and heat to all or parts of the affected area.
- We are working on the matter and apologize for the inconvenience this causes, the website states.
The district heating supply must also have been shut off in several places in Aarhus Municipality. This is reported by TV 2 Østjylland.
Among other places in Beder and Mårslet, which are located south of Aarhus, the heat must have been shut off.
