Energy developer Momentum Energy Group and electricity supplier Reel are now launching a new product in the form of a so-called hybrid PPA model, where solar energy and battery storage are integrated into one electricity purchase agreement for customers. This is reported by EnergiWatch.
- To our knowledge, no hybrid PPAs have been concluded in Denmark yet, so it is new for both us and the industry, says Tobias Ruby, who heads the construction and technology department at Momentum and is responsible for the company's battery plants on a daily basis, to the media.
Momentum Energy will develop and establish a new hybrid solar and battery park, while Reel Energy will handle the sale of the electricity purchase agreement.
