KMD Group has recruited Mikael Brandt from Ørsted to the position of new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He will take up the position on 1 February 2026 and will become part of the Group's Executive Board ahead of a new strategy period. This is stated by KMD Group in a press release.
Mikael Brandt most recently comes from Ørsted. He has been part of Ørsted's top management since 2011 with financial responsibility for several business areas. He is a qualified state-authorised public accountant and has previously been CFO at Arriva Scandinavia and ABB. According to KMD's CEO, the appointment is part of strengthening the group's financial management ahead of the upcoming strategy period.
