Mayor of Rødovre, Britt Jensen (S), has been elected as the new vice-chairman of Hofor Vand Holding A/S, Hofor Spildevand Holding A/S, and Hofor A/S' board of directors after Brøndby's outgoing mayor Kent Max Magelund (S). This was decided at board meetings this week, the utility company said in a statement.
- All the tasks that Hofor helps to solve are incredibly important for our everyday lives to be connected. It is completely natural to take a glass of fresh water from the tap, and that is how it should be in the future. I am pleased to now have Britt as vice-chairman in this work, says Hofor chairman Susanne Juhl.
Britt Jensen has served on the municipal council in Rødovre since 1994 and was appointed mayor in 2020, and as a member of Hofor's board, has worked to ensure focus on the important agendas for supply to the capital area.
- I am very pleased to step in as vice-chairman after two years as a member of the board. I will work hard to get the best conditions for supply in the capital area, says Britt Jensen.
Brøndby's new mayor Maja Højgaard (S) will take over Brøndby's place on the board of Hofor Vand og Spildevand Holding.
