The East Jutland electricity grid company Dinel, which is part of the AURA group, will have a new network director this summer. Erik Kongsgaard Rasmussen has chosen to step down after 11 years in the position, and he will be replaced internally by the company's current plant manager, Kasper Skytte. Dinel announced this in a press release.
Erik Kongsgaard Rasmussen has been at the helm of Dinel since the merger in 2014 and highlights, among other things, a quadrupling of plant investments and a strong position in the green transition as significant results.
- I have had 11 fantastic years as network director, but now I think the time is ripe to hand over the management to someone else. It has been an exciting development journey that the employees, Dinel's board and I have been on since the merger in 2014. During that period, we have quadrupled capital investments, and thanks to skilled employees and increased use of data and asset management, we have a very well-run company, low tariffs and a delivery reliability that is among the very best, says Erik K. Rasmusse, CEO of Dinel.
The incoming CEO Kasper Skytte has been part of Dinel since 2019 and describes the energy area as both meaningful and socially critical. He looks forward to navigating the company through the investments and challenges of the coming years.
- I am very much looking forward to the task, and I approach it very humbly. I have worked in the energy industry my entire professional career, and I think it is a very meaningful area, says Kasper Skytte.
