BioCirc Group is experiencing a positive and constructive dialogue with the local population in connection with the development of the energy project Go Green Vesthimmerland, which will consist of 18 200 m wind turbines, approximately 600 hectares of solar cells and an industrial cluster. This is happening after a series of citizen meetings with residents' associations, local stakeholders and institutions in the area. The company states this in a statement.

- We are actively seeking to include the perspectives and wishes of the citizens in the project. Their input from the first meeting has been incorporated into the project, and it was clear during the second meeting that there was great satisfaction that we are actually trying to incorporate local wishes into the new vision for the area, says Jacob Juul Jellesen, project developer and land surveyor at BioCirc, and elaborates:

- It is good to experience that we are working with some representatives from the local area who can enter the discussions regarding the energy project with an open mind and work actively to get the most out of the process when the project is realized.

BioCirc itself emphasizes that the perspectives of the citizens have been incorporated into the development of the project.

- It should be no secret that many in Haubro and the surrounding area are concerned about the transformation that will take place right next to our small town. Having said that, I think it is commendable that we ourselves can help provide input to the project. I think we have been heard and taken seriously in the process by talented people who must have several conflicting opinions/interests to meet in a sensible place, and hope that this collaboration can continue with the development of our local community, says Bo Serritzlew, chairman of Haubro Parish Residents' Association, in the announcement.

Go Green Vesthimmerland is one of ten energy projects that BioCirc is currently working on in Denmark. The group has ambitions to anchor the energy projects locally and balance the green transition with regard to local communities. This includes, among other things, recreational initiatives and agreements with local associations.
