Triangle Energy Alliance, TEA, is now expanding its partnership with a new member category for startups. The first companies in the category will be Trinity Synergies and FERM Rådgivning. Trinity Synergies works to convert mineral-based construction waste into recycled cement, while FERM Rådgivning works with projects and solutions within energy, water and infrastructure. This is stated by TEA in a press release.

TEA was established in 2021 as a public-private collaboration between municipalities, companies and utilities with a focus on PtX, sector coupling and green transition in the Triangle area. The partnership has since grown from 17 to 32 members.

The new startup category is targeted at companies with fewer than 25 employees and a balance sheet total of less than 50 million DKK. Startup members do not have voting rights and cannot run for the board of directors. According to TEA, the new membership category will help strengthen the value chains in the partnership and contribute with new technologies and solutions within, among other things, PtX and green energy.

- TEA started when the PtX hype was at its peak, and recent years have shown that it has been necessary to supplement the initial enthusiasm with a lot of hard work. I am really happy that TEA has managed to keep up the pace, because complex societal challenges take time. But it is clear after 5 years that TEA has become a well-functioning platform for joint knowledge sharing in strategically prioritized areas and has achieved reach in a national perspective, says Anders Frandsen, chairman of the board of TEA.

TEA has also brought Danish Aviation and DTU into the partnership. The goal is to continue to develop the Triangle Area as a center for green fuels and sector coupling for heavy transport and industry.

- We have a strong focus on attracting new members who can enrich the partnership in TEA and contribute with knowledge and insight and consolidate the necessary value chains. All our new partners complement the value chains in TEA in an optimal way, says Anders Frandsen.
