KIRKBI A/S has appointed Swedish Susanna Campbell as CEO of KIRKBI Climate A/S with effect from November 15, 2025. She will lead the LEGO family's climate company and strengthen investments in energy transition, circular plastics and sustainable land use. KIRKBI announced this in a press release.

Campbell has more than 25 years of experience from private equity, listed companies and growth companies. She was previously CEO of the Nordic investment company Ratos and co-founder of Norrsken VC, the largest impact venture fund in the Nordics. She has also held board positions in, among others, Kinnevik, Indutrade and Northvolt.

– Having helped create and scale companies that promote the green transition, I am looking forward to becoming part of KIRKBI Climate at this crucial time. The company's approach to impact investing and business development reflects the kind of long-term commitment needed to accelerate meaningful climate action, says Susanna Campbell, newly appointed CEO of KIRKBI Climate.

KIRKBI Climate was established in January 2025 to bring together all of KIRKBI's climate-related investments in one company. The company currently manages a portfolio of around DKK 10 billion and plans to invest up to a further DKK 10 billion over the next five years. The goal is to build companies with significant climate impact and long-term value creation.

KIRKBI A/S is the holding company for the LEGO Group and other companies owned by the Kirk Kristiansen family. With a purpose to create a better future for children, KIRKBI has committed to reinvesting future earnings from the LEGO Group and other activities in building companies within three business areas: LEGO Holding, KIRKBI Education and KIRKBI Climate.
