Milestone Systems has signed a new cooperation agreement with the French AI company Wintics during the ongoing Danish state visit to France, where King Frederik and Queen Mary are participating together with President Emmanuel Macron. Milestone Systems writes in a press release.

- Europe has a long history of building partnerships and collaboration across cultures. This is no less important today. It is the ability to create something together that defines our success in driving technological progress. The visit here is a testament to our shared ambition, and it is a great honor to participate together with Their Majesties King Frederik and Queen Mary on this important state visit to France, says CEO of Milestone Systems Thomas Jensen.

The new agreement between Milestone Systems and Wintics is to strengthen the development of AI models for, among other things, public safety and traffic management. The two companies previously collaborated during the Paris 2024 Olympics, where their technologies were used to protect citizens and spectators.

- We share the same vision: AI-powered cameras will be a great tool to build safer, more comfortable and more sustainable public spaces. But above all, we share the same values – this revolution can only happen through the emergence of responsible technology. Our collaboration with Milestone Systems has been a natural fit, and we have already created remarkable results. I am pleased to strengthen our partnership and accelerate our joint efforts, which hold enormous potential going forward, says Matthias Houllier, CEO of Wintics.

The collaboration will build on Milestone's previously announced initiative with NVIDIA, known as "Project Hafnia", which focuses on responsible training of visual AI models.

- Developing innovative, responsible solutions that make people and societies safer and richer is at the core of what we do - both at Milestone and Wintics. AI-powered analytics has exciting potential to achieve just that, and I am both proud and excited to strengthen this promising partnership with today's collaboration agreement. There is no doubt that together we can achieve an even greater impact for the benefit of our society,

says Thomas Jensen.
