Danish companies that have adopted robotics have increased their turnover by 58 billion DKK and created 15,000 new jobs since 2017. This is shown by a new analysis from Dansk Industri. This is reported by Fyens Stiftstidende.
Small and medium-sized companies in particular have a large untapped potential, and DI Produktion sees an urgent need to get more robots to work. In a time of labor shortages and intensified global competition, there is no time to wait, according to the industry organization.
More funds have now been allocated for robot investments through programs such as SME:Digital, EU initiatives and the Danish Business Development Board. The schemes give companies the opportunity to test robots with financial support – and now also with subsidies for training employees.
DI Produktion has worked to make the programs known and easy to apply for, and encourages more companies to investigate the possibilities.
