The Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Programme (EUDP) supports the development and demonstration of green energy technologies every year. And in the latest application round, 92 applications were submitted for a total of DKK 891 million.
Now 37 new energy projects receive grants to get started.
- It is always positive when new energy technology projects emerge. We must support this as much as we can. Because it is precisely the development of new technologies and innovative solutions that will help us even further in the green transition. That is why I am also pleased that the EUDP has been able to provide grants to so many relevant green projects in 2025, says Minister for Climate, Energy and Utilities Lars Aagaard in a press release.
The supported projects include an energy-saving solution for ventilation systems, an intelligent drone system for repairing offshore wind turbine blades and an underwater method for transporting electricity through the sea.
This is the second time this year that EUDP has awarded grants. Previously, 327 million DKK was given to 40 projects, and with the 37 new projects, 77 energy projects will be supported by 2025 with a total of 609 million DKK. kr.
Here is how the 37 new projects are distributed:
- 21 EUDP projects, including 2 concerning electricity storage
- 15 IEA collaborations (projects under the International Energy Agency)
- 1 project under the special pool for pyrolysis technology
