With effect from 1 May, Ørsted is expanding its Group Management and appointing Amanda Dasch and Godson Njoku as new members responsible for development and production, respectively. Ørsted writes in a press release.
– With the appointment of Amanda Dasch and Godson Njoku, we welcome two strong profiles who, with their many years of management experience from the energy industry, will contribute valuable skills to the Group Management. The combined Group Management reflects our increased focus on our core business, on project execution and on improving our competitiveness, says Ørsted President and CEO Rasmus Errboe, who is CEO of Ørsted.
Amanda Dasch will become the new Chief Development Officer (CDO) and will be responsible for Ørsted Commercial. This area covers commercial development activities in Europe, the Americas and the Asia-Pacific region. It also includes Trading & Revenue, Group Strategy & Innovation and Group Stakeholder Relations. She will move to Denmark and continue as Regional Director for the Americas temporarily until a replacement is found.
Godson Njoku will become the new Chief Generation Officer (CGO) and will have overall responsibility for Ørsted's energy-producing assets in Europe. He comes from a position as Group Executive Vice President at Shell with responsibility for Global Production Excellence and has held a number of senior positions in the energy company.
The updated Group Management at Ørsted consists of: Rasmus Errboe as Group President and CEO, Trond Westlie as Group CFO, Amanda Dasch as Development Director, Patrick Harnett as Plant Director, Godson Njoku as Production Director and Henriette Fenger Ellekrog as Group HR Director. In connection with the changes, the position of Deputy CEO will be abolished.
