The fund for the green conversion of heavy road transport is open to applicants.
This is stated by the Ministry of Transport in a press release.
As part of the agreement on partial implementation of the green fund from 2024, a total of DKK 700 million was allocated for the green conversion and efficiency of road freight transport. The funds are released on an ongoing basis, and this year the fund amounts to DKK 160 million.
- The transport industry is well underway with the conversion to green fuels. I have no doubt that the conversion will gain momentum, as we have also seen with electric passenger cars. The fund funds are helping to push the development further. Last year, support was given to 920 electric trucks from the fund for the green conversion, and I also expect great interest this year, says Minister of Transport Thomas Danielsen (V).
The funds are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and the last chance to apply is September 30th, or when there is no more money in the pool.
