After more than four years in the position of press and communications manager for Danish Ports, Søren Søndergaard has announced on LinkedIn that he is quitting. Søren Søndergaard is not moving on directly to a new job, but is open to new challenges, he writes on LinkedIn.
"It has been a privilege to work for something as fundamentally important to all of us as the Danish commercial ports. I have had the pleasure of seeing and showing a number of politicians how to work purposefully and effectively in the ports around the country. But now the port organization is unfortunately changing, so I have to do something else."
Søren Søndergaard became press and communications manager for Danish Ports after he left the position as press manager for the Danish People's Party at Christiansborg in 2020 after almost 15 years. Søren Søndergaard was previously head of development and editor of Politikens Lokalaviser. Next week, the book “Handbook of Press Work” will be published, which Søren Søndergaard has written with Marie Nyhus from the trade magazine Journalisten, editor and host of the podcast “Budskab”, and Emil Nielsen, press manager at the Danish Nature Conservation Association.
