Thisted Municipality's technical director has chosen to retire early. Mogens Kruse Andersen has also been the chief executive of Hanstholm Port since January 1, 2023, when the port became municipal. The director quickly dismisses any speculation about the reason for his surprising resignation.
- The reason is simply that I will be 62 years old on February 1, 2024 and will therefore retire, writes Mogens Kruse Andersen in a short written response to DOI.dk.
Most recently, Mogens Kruse Andersen had defended a hotly contested case about an illegal surf cafe on Hanstholm Harbour beach area after criticism from a local businessman who was a neighbor of the now closed beach cafe.
