In the article "SVM chose a green billionaire and forgot the environmental organisations" DOI.dk was able to report that environmental organisations, banks and independent research have not been selected for the port partnership despite the fact that there should be a focus on economy, climate and environment in the partnership recommendation for the development of Danish commercial ports.

The partnership was appointed by Minister of Business, Industry and Energy Morten Bødskov (S), Minister of Transport Thomas Danielsen (V) and Minister of Climate, Energy and Supply Lars Aagaard (M) at the end of April.

DOI.dk has received the following response from the Ministry of Business and Industry regarding the missing organisations:

"As stated in the Terms of Reference for the Partnership on the Development of Danish commercial ports, the partnership shall bring together the actors in the area, and the partnership's recommendations shall support commercial investments in the development of the Danish commercial ports.
In the composition of the partnership, emphasis has been placed on knowledge of commercial conditions in relation to the Danish commercial ports or in the industries for which the ports constitute an important infrastructure. The partnership may involve additional relevant actors as needed.”

The Ministry of Business and Industry thus does not specifically address why environmental organizations, banks and independent research experts have not been selected for the port partnership.
