Vestas shares came flying out of the starting holes at the start of the week and rose 7.3 percent to DKK 192.50 on Monday.

The increase comes, among other things, on the basis that the British government announced that a number of European countries - including Denmark - have entered into an agreement to supply 100 gigawatts of offshore wind in the North Sea.

In addition, JPMorgan labeled the wind turbine share a "positive catalyst watch," wrote the news agency DPA. The major bank's Vestas recommendation is positive "overweight" with an associated price target of DKK 200.

Ørsted also rose 1.6 percent to DKK 140. In the wake of the pan-European offshore wind agreement, the energy group announced that the company is ready to invest more money in offshore wind projects in the North Sea.

Overall, it was a plus of 0.7 percent. to 1931.37 for the C25 index, with investors seemingly focusing on the upcoming financial statements rather than the trade tensions between Europe and the US over Greenland that dominated the market last week.

- We are coming off a hectic week where the focus was on geopolitics. Now it is not known whether there will be more noise from there, but I can imagine that the focus is on the upcoming financial statements season, says Martin Munk, senior equity advisor at Jyske Bank, to MarketWire.
