After 12 years as President of Danfoss' business unit Danfoss Power Solutions, Eric Alström has decided to seek new challenges outside the company.
Danfoss has looked internally and found his replacement in the form of Daniel Winter, who has previously been Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Danfoss Power Solutions. He will also become part of Danfoss' top management, the Danfoss Group Executive Team. The change will take effect on 1 January. Danfoss informs in a press release.
- I look forward to building on our solid foundation, excellent products and solutions, good customer relationships and the fantastic and talented team, which is known for delivering great results, says Daniel Winter and continues:
- Although the market offers challenges, we are ready to navigate them and take Danfoss Power Solutions to the next level.
Prior to his current position, Daniel Winter served as Senior Vice President, Head of Finance Functions, for Danfoss Group from 2017 to 2020, and as Senior Vice President, Finance and Controlling, at Sauer-Danfoss from 2013 to 2017.
Eric Alström joined Danfoss in 2012 as President and CEO of Sauer-Danfoss. Since then, and under his leadership, the segment has been transformed into a strong global leader in mobile and industrial hydraulics and electrification.
- Danfoss has undergone a huge transformation since I started 12 years ago, especially during the last five years, says Eric Alström.
