When customers visit BAUHAUS in Esbjerg at Gl. Vardevej 247, they can now charge their electric car at two new 120 kW charging stations, which together have four charging points. OK writes in a press release.

- We are very happy that the charging stations in Esbjerg have become operational. At BAUHAUS Denmark, we take responsibility for creating sustainable solutions that benefit both our customers and society. With the new charging stations in Esbjerg, we offer a valuable service that enables our customers to charge their electric cars while they visit the store, says Kim Gravesen, CFO of BAUHAUS.

He emphasizes that the collaboration with OK is part of the company's strategy to strengthen the green infrastructure.

- The collaboration with OK is an important step towards strengthening the green infrastructure, and we see it as part of our responsibility to contribute to a more sustainable future for Denmark, says Kim Gravesen.

The new charging stations are part of a larger agreement, where OK, in collaboration with the subsidiary GodEnergi A/S, is establishing charging stations at BAUHAUS' stores. The agreement includes 76 charging points distributed across 12 stores.

- Together with BAUHAUS, we are creating new opportunities for Danes to charge their cars while they do their shopping. And we believe this is important to make electric vehicles more accessible and practical in everyday life, says Kenneth Risborg Korsgaard, Market Director for e-mobility at OK.

The charging stations can be used by all visitors via OK's app or a payment terminal for physical payment cards. No subscription is required, and users can start charging directly in the app.

BAUHAUS in Odense and Esbjerg have already had charging stations commissioned, and the next stores in line include Glostrup, Tilst, Roskilde, Gladsaxe, Valby, Kolding, Aalborg, Holbæk, Sønderborg and Vejle.

As part of the agreement, BAUHAUS will also have charging stations installed for its own car fleet later this year.
