Topsoe has appointed Yassir Ghiyati as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). He will also join the company's Senior Leadership Team and will have overall responsibility for Topsoe's commercial business across global markets. The company announced this in a press release.

The appointment follows the previous CCO, Elena Scaltritti, who was last week presented as the new CEO of Topsoe as of June 1, 2026, replacing Roeland Baan. Despite the change taking place this summer, Yassir Ghiyati will start as CCO immediately, taking responsibility for the company's core commercial offerings, including technologies such as HydroFlex®, WSATM, eREACTTM and SynCORTM as well as the catalyst business.

- I am very pleased that Yassir has accepted the role of CCO at Topsoe. I am convinced that he will work closely with our customers on energy-efficient fuel production and their decarbonization goals. His experience from management roles across geographies combined with his in-depth knowledge of Topsoe's solutions makes him well suited to the role, says Elena Scaltritti.

Yassir Ghiyati has been employed by Topsoe since 2005 and has more than 20 years of experience in engineering, sales and management roles. Most recently, he was Vice President and Managing Director for the EMEA region. He holds a degree in chemical engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.
