Danish GreenGo Energy has great ambitions to develop green hydrogen projects in Africa. To promote these ambitions, the Danish developer has entered into a strategic partnership with the Chinese wind turbine manufacturer Goldwind. This has happened with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (Memorandum of Understanding ed.)

In Africa, GreenGo Energy is developing a portfolio of large-scale green hydrogen projects called Megaton, which aims to exploit Africa's rich resources within renewable energy. It is these projects that Goldwind will help supply onshore wind turbines, GreenGo states in a press release.

- Goldwind's size and expertise make them the ideal partner for projects of this size. Together, we are in a strong position to promote Africa's potential within renewable energy and contribute meaningfully to the global energy transition, says Karsten Nielsen, CEO of GreenGo Energy.

Goldwind is also pleased with the new collaboration, which they see as a great vision.

We are proud to partner with GreenGo Energy on these visionary projects. Their dedication to developing green hydrogen aligns with our mission to deliver innovative wind solutions and strengthen the role of renewable energy in sustainable development, says Mason Qin, CEO of Goldwind Africa.
