Green Power Denmark has hired Stine Leth Rasmussen as new Deputy CEO and Director of Infrastructure. She comes from a position as Deputy Director at the Danish Energy Agency. This is stated by the trade organization in a press release.

In her current role, Stine Leth Rasmussen has been responsible for the electricity sector, global energy cooperation and emergency preparedness in the energy sector. She thus has experience from key areas for the work of the trade organization. She has also previously been a department manager at Dansk Energi, which was part of the merger behind Green Power Denmark in 2022, and thus also brings industry knowledge and experience with member dialogue.

- I am really happy to have such a strong capacity on the team at Green Power Denmark in the future. Stine Leth Rasmussen brings deep insight and broad professional knowledge, which will strengthen Green Power Denmark as the professionally strongest interest organization in Denmark, says Kristian Jensen, CEO of Green Power Denmark.

Stine Leth Rasmussen will take office on August 1 and take over the position from Mette Rose Skaksen, who previously moved to Energi Fyn as CEO. She will start her new position after the summer holidays, when she has completed her duties at the Danish Energy Agency.

-I am very much looking forward to stepping into my new role at Green Power Denmark. The Danish energy sector plays a critical societal role as a supplier of energy that is green, secure and affordable. At the same time, this calls for a robust and future-proof infrastructure as the backbone of our energy system. I look forward to helping push forward this development in close collaboration with Green Power Denmark's members, says Stine Leth Rasmussen.
