The electrolysis producer Green Hydrogen System (GHS), which is based in Kolding, continued to lose money in 2023. The result of the primary operation thus ended with a deficit of 406 million. DKK. In 2023, the deficit was 283 million. DKK. This is evident from the company's annual accounts.
The company's turnover remains modest, and ended in 2023 at just 42 million. DKK. However, this is an improvement compared to the previous year, when the turnover was ten million. DKK.
GHS lost 268 million. DKK on operations, which was largely the same level as 2022, when the deficit was 249 million. DKK. It was also within expectations for GHS.
- On the surface, 2023 was a year of technical and supply chain challenges, delayed deliveries and not meeting our targets. Looking deeper beneath the headlines, 2023 was a year of progress, says Peter Friis, who took over as CEO of Green Hydrogen Systems in October.
GHS expects this progress to continue in 2024, as the company expects revenue of between DKK 125 and 165 million. However, this will still lead to large operating losses, with a loss of between DKK 220 and 260 million expected.
- Despite the headwinds we faced in 2023, we moved our company forward in several areas. We are confident that this improved position will pay off in 2024, says Peter Friis.
