Rønne Havn A/S came out of 2024 with a net turnover of approximately 170 million DKK and a profit of almost 63 million DKK, corresponding to a return of just over five percent. All business areas contributed positively, and the port continues to mark itself as Bornholm's primary supply and commercial port. This is stated by Rønne Havn in a press release.

- Rønne Havn is a key player in maintaining security of supply to Bornholm and supporting local business development and growth. In the past year, the port has worked purposefully to maintain its role as a hub and central player in the region's port sector - for both regional and international stakeholders. This requires significant investments, but the port has also managed to maintain high quality and service in the task, says Jess C. Persson, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rønne Havn A/S.

One of the year's key projects has been the completion of stage 3 of the port expansion, carried out by MT Højgaard. When the entire expansion is completed at the end of 2025, the port will, among other things, be able to handle two simultaneous offshore projects. As early as 2025, both foundations and the new Vestas 15 MW wind turbine will be shipped to projects in the Baltic Sea.

Passenger traffic has also shown growth, and 55 cruise calls are planned in collaboration with Destination Bornholm. According to the port, this has strengthened the local economy and the island's tourist profile.

- We are looking into a future where growth and development remain in focus, but where consolidation will take more place than expansion. We will strengthen our position as a modern and sustainable port centrally located in the Baltic Sea. This means fewer large investments and increased focus on operational efficiency and strategic use of the port's areas, says Lars Nordahl, CEO of Rønne Havn A/S.

The port highlights sustainability as a strategic core area and will maintain an active role in the green transition leading up to the general meeting on May 8, 2025, when the year will formally end.
