The former management of Odsherred Forsyning has been sued by Odsherred Municipality, which is demanding 50 million DKK in damages. The municipality estimates that the scandal could cost up to 300 million DKK. This is reported by TV2 Øst.

A total of 10 people have been sued. These include former director Fanny Villadsen, former financial director Claus Thorsen, former chairman of the board Mathias Hansen (V) and Allan Andersen (S), who sat on the board as a representative of the municipal council, and who is married to mayor Karina Vincentz (Nyt Odsherred).

The case stems from the financial problems in Odsherred Forsyning, which became public knowledge in the spring of 2024. Here, the district heating rollout was immediately slowed down, and the company was in debt in the billions, which brought it close to bankruptcy.

The claim for damages of 50 million According to the municipality, the amount of DKK is a preliminary estimate that may change as the case progresses.

TV2 Øst has tried to get a comment from Mayor Karina Vincentz and Municipal Director Claus Steen Madsen, but this has not been possible.
