On Friday, it was announced that the Energy Museum in Bjerringbro will receive 1 million. DKK in this year's budget law. With that money, the museum is not yet fully on track to get its budget in place, but it is a great help, said the chairman of the museum, Karin Gaardsted.

However, it will not be director Teo Juel Geer, who has been director since 2019, who will be tasked with getting the museum over the finish line. In a press release, the board of directors states that they have decided to end their collaboration with Teo Juel Geer. For now, museum curator Christina Louise Sørensen from the Energy Museum has been appointed as acting director until a permanent profile is in place.

- It must be a profile that can both manage the daily operations of the museum and help raise the money needed to update the operating budget and exhibitions. It must also be a profile that has museum knowledge and education, says Karin Gaardsted to TV Midtvest.
